Obsessed with Nudity

President Sarkoszy and wife, Carla
The new first lady of France showed everyone recently that posing nude does not and should not define someone. Everyone was nervous about what kind of First Lady Carla Bruni would make just because she posed nude when she was in the height of her modeling stunt. Well she proved to everyone during her recent visit to Britain's Royal Family's Buckingham Palace that she could be just as gracious as anyone else. And, I'm glad the modern, liberal President Nicolas Sarkoszy did not buckle under pressure to marry some old boring stuffy prude.
What we have seen happening recently is conservatives who marry the so-called perfect conservative wife are living another life out of the public limelight. They are seeing the young more worldly woman (or man) in the dark. How hypocritical. They put on this grand facade for the world to see, when in truth they are using labels to cover their true personas - the opposite of what the labels represent. I always say if you have to wear something on your sleeve, it means you are covering something up. I don't have to remind you of all the recent so-called conservatives whose true practices have been brought to the forefront. The popular Evangelist who was seeing the gay prostitute; the Senator who was acting strange in a man's bathroom which was a notorious meeting place for gays; and the more recent Governor who was seeing a call-girl under cover.
Here is a man that wanted to be with a pretty, sexy, savvy, young thing and decided to do it in the open regardless of whether she posed nude in the past. Can you imagine the flack the French President would have to take here in the US? You see you have to send the right image. And a woman who posed nude is judged as being less than conservative. As a politician you're supposed to have the picture perfect marriage and lifestyle.
Look at Frenchi - the young lady that tried out for American Idol, but was kicked off because topless pictures of her emerged. (And, this was only a talent show. Can you imagine if she was a potential first lady? There would probably have been a riot.) Now we will not know how talented she really is ( and I hear she is,) because we were more concerned about the topless pictures than her talent. I believe the talent and her personality is more of a character builder than some topless pictures. Don't you think?
