Hold The Presses - It's Raining!!!!

I mean, OMG, that is what some news reporters make it sound like when we get some showers of blessings.  OK it rained all day on Monday.   Why are people acting like its some strange phenomenon.  Others are complaining that the rain inconvenienced them and they could not get through their usual routine smoothly.  For pete's sake, get an umbrella or a hoody!!  Its rain!.  You know, that natural thing that happens when moisture builds up in the atmosphere.  It waters our plants, it replenishes our reservoirs, it keeps our grasses green.  Why are we behaving like its this big inconvenience.

Which brings me to my next point.  When did God need help taking care of his planet.  God has been taking care of earth for centuries,  so who says he needs help from man now.  What are we saving the planet from again?  Yes, I know we should reduce harmful pollution for our own health reasons and we should recycle materials, but I believe the planet will continue to take care of itself.  That is why events like volcanoes, hurricanes and yes, sadly enough, earthquakes occur.  With advances in technology, we have been able to get out of the way of hurricanes, and hopefully one day they will be able to tell when an earthquake is approaching,  so people can prepare for "nature's release??"

Man is always trying to reduce God to their level.  They just can't seem to accept the fact that there is some being greater than them that they cannot begin to fathom.  That is why I say, again, it defies common sense to be an atheist.  The earth's natural occurrences are just so awesome and incredible, its beyond our reasoning at times.  And now that its colder than usual, are we going to come up with some fancy term called Global Cooling?  Does this unusual cold spell dismiss the Global Warming Theory?

As the song writer puts it, ".....Its just another ordinary miracle, today!"
